A Slack bot that converts a meeting time from another user’s time zone to the one of the user who calls the bot.
The above was our original goal; however, our Slack bot cannot do this just yet.
Our bot can start a threaded message to reply to the calling user.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.
- To deploy this Slackbot in your workspace, you will need to follow this tutorial
- Instead of running starterbot.py, run timezonebot.py that is provided in this repository.
