Extract subtitles from video files: Send video files to extract subtitle tracks.
Collaborate with others: The collaborative editing feature in SubEditBot allows multiple users to work together on editing subtitles. Authorized collaborators can access and modify subtitles in real-time, while administrators or original owners of the subtitle can manage permissions, such as blacklisting or removing collaborators. This feature enhances teamwork, ensuring efficient collaboration by allowing users to contribute, edit, or review subtitle files collectively within the bot’s interface.
Cloud Database: All your subtitle editing is stored securely in the cloud, ensuring no loss of unsaved work.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Python 3.7+
MongoDB (Cloud instance recommended)
pyrogram
pysrt

Installation

Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/anzilr/SubEditBot.git
cd SubEditBot

Install the required packages:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Set up your config.env file with your Telegram bot token and MongoDB credentials.

Create a config.env file and write the below credentials

API_ID="Your telegram API ID"
API_HASH="Your telegram API HASH"

MONGO_URI="Your MongoDB URI"
BOT_TOKEN="Your telegram bot token"

#SUDO USERID IS OPTIONAL
OWNER_USERID =[12345678]
SUDO_USERID  =[12345678]
DB_NAME = "Your MongoDB database name"

Run the bot:

python3 -m subedit

Web App Integration

SubEditBot includes a web app for advanced text formatting and color picking. Access it via the Formatter button in the bot interface. Source here

WebPlayer

SubEditBot includes a WebPlayer for previewing the edited subtitles with video. Access it via the Player button in the bot interface.
