Why a new list of awesome HDL tools?

Hello Andreas,
there is already an awesome list for HDL and hardware.
Why have you created a new list?
We already merge multiple private lists to create one for the greater good.

Why? If you look at the list, you will see there is significant content in there that is not in your list. It was easier for me to start my own repo (~3hrs total). Free will is great! This is why we have Verilog and VHDL. 😜

IMHO, the target is different. hdl/awesome is an index of projects, while this one is a list of repositories. The volume of information available in hdl/awesome is more complete by several orders, which does also require more effort to update/maintain. Therefore, hdl/awesome is meant for people to learn and know, while this list is for people to find.
Nevertheless, should you find items in this list which are missing in hdl/awesome, contributions are very welcome!
