GitIt is an interactive and informative event that focuses on teaching new core team members the basics of Git and GitHub, as well as how these tools are utilized within our organization, CodeChef-VIT. The session is designed to provide participants with a hands-on learning experience, covering topics such as Git installation and setup, GitHub, project initialization, file tracking stages, committing with good messages, pushing repositories to GitHub, using branches in Git, and pull requests.
