A simple basic example of web app deployed in Google Apps Script

Prerequisites:

  • create Telegram bot
  • create a project in Google Apps Script
  • set webhook for bot

Code in the example implements the following:

  • handle POST requests with updates from Telegram
  • log the date, author and text of the update into a Google spreadsheet
  • notify bot owner about the update
