Feature request: Adding word to a word list

vebaev opened this issue · 8 comments

It will be great if there is a future we can add a word to a word list (tabular.txt or something) so we can use such list to make Anki deck afterwards. This will ad way more productivity to the learning process!

Any ideas on what this would look like?

Maybe adding a button here (see screenshot below of upcoming appex ver) to export all the words to CSV you've moused-over in the past? Not sure what would be most practical for Anki users.

Now that I think of it, we can show lookup history in the new Main app. It would probably be possible for the user to select all the words he/she wants for CSV export. Would something like that work?

Would hover-and-lookup list be too huge if it automatically adds every work we see into it?

I think you're right. Maybe if the user holds <SHIFT> as he/she hovers over a word, it could add to a history list on the Main App? Then the user can pick and choose which to export? Not sure what would be most intuitive; open for suggestions!

@apparition47 SHIFT would be a nice option.

(BTW, I haven't got enough time to look at the highlight issue or app store submission yet - too busy at the moment. But that's in my near schedule. Thank you for the wonderful and quick fixes/migrations.)

Let's delay this by first improving the basic features.

Yomichan has a good implementation of adding to Anki using AnkiConnect, with a + symbol on the dictionary popup, I'd be happy to try contributing something like that.

This looks very useful. Please do go ahead and contribute if you have idea and time to implement. Thanks a lot!
