Setup

Note: this project requires minSdkVersion to be 21 or above

1. Setting up app level build.gradle

--1.1 Add this under android {} just after buildToolsVersion

dataBinding {
        enabled = true
}

and on top of the file

apply plugin: 'kotlin-kapt'

--1.2 Inside defaultConfig {}

multiDexEnabled true

2. Setting up Dependency

dependencies {
    implementation "androidx.multidex:multidex:x.x.x"
    implementation 'com.github.ashiqursuperfly:Android-Utils:vx.x.x'
}

3. Setting up project level build.gradle

allprojects {
    repositories {
        maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
    }
}

4. Creating a new app that extends BaseApplication()

--4.1 Creating the kotlin app

class MyApp : BaseApplication() {
    override fun afterOnCreate() {
        //TODO: do initialization stuff
    }
}

--4.2 Dont forget to register the app in manifest.xml like,

        android:icon="@mipmap/ic_launcher"
