Sparkfun arduino driver for lis3dh worked on p8b (with the sc7a 3 axis accelerometer). At least for detecting raising of hand, but not step counting.

Perhaps someone could write or point out a quick algo for pedometer based on xyz

I am doing some experiments with attached code. Results not very accurate (sometimes steps not counted sometimes double steps).
