    rails server -b 0.0.0.0
  • run commands for local Docker:

    docker build ./ -t cruddy-friends

    docker run --network=host --mount type=bind,source="$(pwd)"/db,target=/app/db cruddy-friends
  • check http://127.0.0.1:3000

deploy to EB

  • create an environment for docker linux 2, then deploy it and see what happens?

    eb init -i --profile=...
    eb status --profile=...
    eb deploy --profile=...
  • checkout the endpoint on eb.. if it fails for a bad dev DNS name, edit your config/environments/development.rb for the staging domain.. it's just for testing of course
