A commit message hook that blocks commits if the previous commit message matches the new one.

Installation

Run the command:

$ sudo curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/aviskarkc10/juut/master/install.sh | bash

Usage

You can add juut as a commit message hook on your repo by running:

Go to the repository you want to add the commit message hook:

$ cd <path-to-my-folder>

Run juut:

$  juut

Motivation

Repeated commit messages is a pet-peeve of mine, so had the idea of building this tool.

Why juut?

juut means a pair in Nepali 🇳🇵.
