INSTALLATION
1. import vdpi_db.sql into mysql, create vdpi_db database first
2. set proper database credentials in application/config/databases.php
3. that's it !
CRON SETUP
The aggregates table needs to be populated periodically using cron task. the script is actually CI's controller accessed from CLI.
1. Aggregates table insert script :
script path :
{VDPI GUI INSTALL_DIR}/index.php vdaemon agg
-> This is an infinite loop daemon script, need NO CRON
2. Alerter script :
script path :
{VDPI GUI INSTALL_DIR}/index.php vdaemon alert
CRON entry example :
*/5 * * * /usr/bin/php /var/www/vdpi/html/index.php vdaemon alert
* * * * * /opt/vdpi/script/./trace
2. Database Backup script :
script path :
{VDPI GUI INSTALL_DIR}/index.php vdaemon dbbackup
-> This backup script creates backup of the whole database, saved as SQL dump, with option of two format, uncompressed and gziped
