This music bot for discord was writting using Python 3, and was done as a side project for learning python as well as the discord.py API.
The bot uses youtube-dl for downloading music from its supported video/music hosting platforms.
The music bot has the following capabilities:
- Leaving and joining voice channels
- Playing audio from a youtube link
- Playing audio with a search query (using the YouTube API)
- Seeking within a song that is currently playing
