Unused role in template

This ECSServiceAutoScalingRole does not seem to be used anywhere. Is it attached somewhere?
On the other hand for example the ECSRole is attached to the ECSInstanceProfile

It is passed to the Website-Service and there it's used for the ServiceScalableTarget.
