There are no instructions regarding installation or how to use. I am unable to use the plugin.
Same comment for my part! I would love to use it but wasn't able to.
The .jar file for this project is included in Fiji (https://fiji.sc and https://github.com/fiji/fiji).
This .jar file contains multiple plugins. If you want to use them as plugins in plain ImageJ, search for "implements.*PlugIn" with regex, or for files that subclass those that do.
There are examples of use of this library here, e.g.,:
- Feature extraction: https://imagej.net/plugins/feature-extraction
- Integral Image Filters: https://imagej.net/plugins/integral-image-filters
- UI-driven ransformations by placing and/or dragging points: https://syn.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/acardona/fiji-tutorial/#transformation-models
There are some additional ones, this list is not exhaustive.
There are examples of using these plugins and library functions from e.g., jython (python for the JVM), with a usage pattern that it's very similar to java. For example:
- SIFT feature extraction with a translation model: https://syn.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/acardona/fiji-tutorial/#feature-extraction-sift-translation
- SIFT feature extraction with a similarity model: https://syn.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/acardona/fiji-tutorial/#feature-extraction-sift-similarity
- NormalizeLocalContrast: https://syn.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/acardona/fiji-tutorial/#batch-process-directory
Search that page for e.g., "mpicbg.models" or "mpicbg.transform" and you'll find many more examples of usage.
