Tidbyt Word of the Day

Simple app for Tidbyt devices that pulls a word of the day, definition, and part of speech from the Wordnik API.

How To

  1. Install Pixlet
  2. A Wordnik API key is needed (used below)
  3. Running the app:
    • pixlet serve wordoftheday.star to view in browser at localhost:8080/?api_key=YourKeyHere
    • pixlet render wordoftheday.star api_key=YourKeyHere to generate a .webp file of the app
