asset placement plugin for godot 4
Installation :
- Copy bpb_placement folder into addons folder
- enable bpb_placement in project settings
Usage :
- Add a RootBasic node
- Select the node
- On bottom panel a new tab "Placement" is added
- in Placement tab, add a new tab
In tab asset :
- Add asset
- Set to align Y with normal
- Random rotation on X Y Z axis
- Random scale. Randomized scale is uniform
- Set tab name
- Set how many columns asset grid has
- Delete the tab
To place object, enable Active button then click on viewport
While placement is active, press :
R to enter rotate mode
- press X Y Z to change rotation axis. Default is Y
S for Scale. Scale is uniform
