Contributions Accepted?

I'm looking to add backtrader to my stack but with the blog, the old repo, the two repos with one for code and I guess the other is documentation.

Can I be added or get approved to be added as a contributor?
I was a federal securities trader for many years so the terminalogy as well as market knowledge I can help improve this great codebase.

I'd like to do a fresh install and new setup, while updating the documentation.
