Scripts to build a Debian/Ubuntu compatible repository from Zoom's published .deb files
This is hardcoded for zoom amd64 builds but can easily be modified for i386 if you want it.
Adapt the paths in zoom-update.cron for your needs and add it to your cron jobs:

Parsing the Zoom homepage got harder and harder, but here's what I got as a workaround from Zoom: (mind the URL containing the current version number):

So in order to get the latest version number, do this:

The script zoom-up can be invoked at any time; it will check the
current and available versions of zoom, and upgrade if a newer version
is available. Measures are taken to avoid downloading the entire
package file by checking the version during the initial stages of
download and cancelling the download if the version is not
appropriate. It could be installed as a daily cron job.

But try it when the system is up to date and it aborts in a faction of a second.
