CoinCounter
Create a coin counter application that takes X amount of money (such as $4.99) and determines the exact amount of change needed in quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. Do not worry about adding a user interface to the application. Instead, focus on writing good tests and functional code.
currency-exchanger
For this week's project, you'll create a currency exchange application. A user should be able to type in an amount (in U.S. dollars) and then choose which currency it should be converted to (such as francs, marks, rupees, and so on). To determine the most recent exchange rate, your application will make an API call to the following exchange rate API.
EauClairesSalon.Solution
"You've been referred by Pierre to his friend Claire who is the owner of a hair salon called Eau Claire's Salon. She has contracted you out to create an MVC web application to help her manage her employees (stylists) and their clients. Claire should be able to add a list of stylists working at the salon, and for each stylist, add clients who see that stylist. The stylists have specific specialties, so each client can only see (belong to) a single stylist."
