Running the Project Locally

Follow these steps to run the project on your local machine:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

    Use the following command to clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/bengo237/Download-Page-Simulator.git

  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    Replace Download-Page-Simulator with the name of the directory that was created when you cloned the repository. Use the following command to navigate into the project directory:

    cd Download-Page-Simulator

  3. Start a local HTTP server using Python:

    Use the following command to start a local HTTP server:

    python3 -m http.server

    This command starts a local HTTP server on port 8000.

  4. Open the project in your web browser:

    Open your web browser and visit http://localhost:8000 to view the project.

Note: The above instructions require Python 3 to be installed on your machine. If you don't have Python installed, you can download it from the official website.
