Due to the nature of bitcoin being a supply and demand-based currency, it will be primarily interesting to see how we can utilize event-based news to predict accurate buy and sell signals. Because bitcoin is not primarily fluctuated by company performance but by user sentiment, we can theoretically determine such sentiment through news. For this analysis, we utilize Coindesk data from April of 2013 to March of 2020.
