This repository contains files used to build and run a copy of the Mautic software on an Alpine docker image. It is a work in progress.
-
To build a Docker image containing Apache, PHP, and the Mautic software run the command
docker build -t mautic-alpine:5.0.2 .
-
If you need to remove previously built images and containers all at once use the command
docker system prune -a
but be careful as this will remove everything (not just mautic-alpine)!NoteThe docker volumes which hold your Mautic install and other persistant data are stored separately and this prune command will not remove them. The docker volumes prune -a
command will but be careful as this will remove volumes for other containers too (not just mautic-alpine)!
Note
|
This assumes you are using docker compose and a suitable yml file that has the appropriate volumes setup. See the sample file included. |
-
The Mautic installation will be stored in a Docker named volume called mautic-install which can be moved to future containers, backed up, etc. Note that data in the database still needs to be backed up separately.
-
If you need to remove the docker volumes where the installation is stored the
docker volumes ls
command will list them and thedocker volumes rm
command can remove them.
-
To run a test copy of the software use the
docker compose -f mautic.yml up
command. You can quit this with a CTRL+C -
To run a copy of the software in the background use the
docker compose -f mautic.yml up --detach
command. -
To stop a background copy of the software use the
docker compose -f mautic.yml down
command.
-
If the default settings in the Apache or PHP configuration files need to be changed you could map these files into the container.
