This repository contains the developed code for the research work on Apache Kafka.
The Metrics_Setup folder contains the files that were reused from the Strimzi's Offical repo and changes were made as per requirement.
The basic application developed is inside the Basic_App folder.
The Pizza_Order_App folder consists of a example python application which involves generating fake pizza orders as part Kafka streaming data.
It also has balanced and unbalanced cluster folder which contains the logic for those.
The scalability achieved for the application and the corresponding files to that are inside the Kubernetes yaml and Dockerfile folder.
Finally, the prometheus scripts consists of the scripts that were used to gather the metrics from the monitoring tools.
The DA_Scripts folder consists of the scripts there were developed for the data analysis on the capture metrics.
