Focus stacking application for Sony A7 cameras. This application simulates user input for the Sony Imagine Edge Remote application in order to implement a basic focus stacking mechanism. The user can specify the number of pictures to take, the step width of the focus shift for each picture and the shift direction. This software is in a very early stage of its development. It might not work for you. Please see the licence for further details about warranty.
- Disable autoreview on your camera
- Connect your camera to your computer
- Start Sony Imagine Edge Remote application
- Start B8Stack
- Set cycle time according to your flash cycle time, exposure and image download speed. If you experience dropped pictures or other problems try increasing this value.
- Press "Go"
Added slider for focus steps per frame. The focus of each frame will be shifted by the selected multiple of the step width.
