User cannot log out (dropdown menu disappears)

The drop-down menu that allows the user to logout is no longer visible after login. This may be attributable to the most recent changes in the header-footer configuration (Z-index may be broken).

This was due to a faulty generated javascript file. It was solved by stopping the application, removing the generated javascript and css files and then starting again. The application then generated new (correct) files.
