Needs a bit of exploration on the SWIG-based library for the python version compatibility.

Binaries for Mac and Linux x86_64

Currently, the symbolic links in the sphinx docs folder break the build system I'm using. I've raised an issue with the project, but wouldn't be surprised if the answer is going to be "Don't symlink stuff until we can be bothered to fix".

I am reopening this, we'll close it when we do the proper release probably after peer review, as of now we'll generate v1.0rc1, v1.0rc2.... etc.
