BIZTabBarBanner is a subclass of UITabBar that adds View over tabbar within UITabBarController.

Installation

Manually

  • Copy Classes folder to your project

From CocoaPods:

pod 'BIZTabBarBanner' 

Usage

  • Create subclass of UITabBarController
  • Set it's tabbar to BIZTabBar class
  • #import "BIZTabBarBanner.h" to subclass of UITabBarController
  • Create custom UIView that will be used as a bannerView.
  • Set it's frame and setup that.
  • Set that custom UIView to tabbar's bannerView.

    //Create banner
    BannerView *banner = [[BannerView alloc] initFromNib];
    banner.frame = CGRectMake(10, -10, self.view.frame.size.width - 20, 44);

    //Set banner
    ((BIZTabBar *)self.tabBar).bannerView = banner;
