- how to edit & visualize data in QGIS
- how to analyze data in QGIS
We will touch on various improvements found in QGIS version 3.0-3.2.
We are using GIS data from (exercise data is in the data folder):
- LA County: LA County Boundaries
- California Department of Fish & Wildlife: NAIP imagery
- OpenStreetMap:OpenStreetMap
- National Park Service: National Park Units
- NASA: SRTM 30m
We aren't going to go in-depth, but we will cover basic usage while highlighting new features. If we don't get to everything during the session, follow the screenshots on the slides to complete the tutorial.
