The python file sets up folders for data analysis and version control (using git) for a data based project.
If you have python installed run the file by opening the "command line" (Windows) or "terminal" (mac). Enter
python "/path/to/file/FelixFolderBeta1.py"
you will need to replace "path/to/file/" with the path to the .py file that you can download here.
The program will ask for a project titel and directory. It will set up a folder with the projec title in the specified directory. Sub-folders will be created and arranged according to Gentzkow & Shapiro (2014). Git will be initialised to monitor your code folder.
