Pet Seeker is a user-friendly website that can help you find your new four-legged friend! The site searches the web to bring thousands of adoptable pets right to users' fingertips. Then, users can "like" or "dislike" these pets, thereby creating a shortlist of their liked pets. Finally, users can follow links provided to get more information on the adoption process of bringing your new pet home.
- Prompts the user for preferences of what they are looking for in a dog at around the users location
- Displays dogs based on the preferences selected and the user can like or skip a dog
- Saved all previously liked dogs in a list so the user can come back to them later
- Clicking on a previously liked dog will redirect to that pets adoption page so the user can continue accordingly to adopt said pet
- liked dogs can be individually removed or overwritten by liking more dogs.
- User can switch thier preferences at anytime by clicking the Gear Icon at the top right
- Attempted to create a very friendly user experience with basic inputs and displaying only useful information
