Android development project creating a local weather app for Worcester, MA. This project was built-off of a basic weather app project from Team Treehouse.
- This app made use of incorporating a 3rd party API (DarkSky.net/Forecast.io).
- Made use of parsing JSON from API.
- Multiple Android activity use.
- Implementation of Android ListView and RecyclerView.
- Background color scheme changes depending on weather data received from API.
- The weather data is based on the location of Worcester, MA. Future release will implement location services to receive weather data based on where the device is currently located.
