(We kept several settings files, each symlinked depending on the server.) If you'd like the about pages to work, you'll need to write your own in flatpages. Ditto the privacy policy. Once you've set up your application in Facebook, and pointed it back to your server (Sadly, in order to authenticate with Facebook, Pie must be on a publicly accessible server.), you should be able to fire it up. Installing the facebook templates is only necessary if you want to post comments back to the user's feed. The installfacebooktemplates management command creates the templates on Facebook based on the contents of facebook_templates.py. We highly recommend configuring caching. Data received from Facebook API calls will be cached, vastly reducing the number of calls out, improving performance and reliability.
