Using JavaScript functions, you will build a quiz app that will determine at which tech company the user will be placed. You'll need to have a way to provide the users different placements based on their specific input. If two users input the same answers, they should receive the same result. Follow the steps below to make your very own site! Make sure to check off your items as you complete them. [ ] => [x]
- Review your Starter Code and make sure you understand what code has already been written for you.
- Go to the repository at https://github.com/ScriptEdcurriculum/quiz
- Fork this repository to your github account and clone it to a new workspace
- Add, commit, and push your changes
- Make your site live on gh-pages
- Update the HTML to reflect your three questions. Expected answers to your new questions should be placeholders in your input box.
- Using conditional statements, declare a function for each of your questions that returns a number based on the user's input.
- Push your changes!
- Use your totalScore variable to store the sum of the result of each function when the user clicks the button.
- Write a function that congratulates the user, by name, on their placement and displays the results on the webpage. For now their placement will be "TBD".
- Push your changes!
- Using the function you created to display the results and conditional statements, write a function that places the user to a tech company based on their total score.
- Push your changes!
- Update the HTML and CSS to reflect your own style.
- Change the theme of the quiz.
- Add more questions to your quiz.
- Update the function that displays the result so it displays an image in addition to the user-specific placement details.
