An Ocean Simulation project for Unreal Engine 4

Primary LanguageC++OtherNOASSERTION

6/23/2019: SaschaElble: In an effort to re-start this project and hopefully get more people interested in it again, and since DotCam has been missing for about a year now, a few things are going to change...

As of now (4.22+) this project is going to be stripped down. There are a few reasons for this, one of them being large download size, long compile/load times, and feature bloat.

I'd like to split these features into separate plugins: (Features with arrows will require the parent feature above it)

Water shaders

^--Buoyancy

^--School of fish (not sure if I will keep this)

Time of day

^--Weather

^--Solar position system (sun and moon)

Also, for hiding the ocean in certain parts so your (below ocean level) beautiful city does not "flood" look at the masking example map.

MASTER Branch - This is the development branch. Please use this branch for all Pull Requests. **MASTER_FULL Branch - This is the "final" version of this project as of 4.22, before it was stripped down

PLEASE NOTE

This branch is NOT guaranteed to properly compile or be stable at all times. This branch will be updated between major UE4 releases with the latest changes, and periodically will be compiled out to a new branch for each new UE4 release, and when major changes occur.

Please use the branch associatd with your UE4 engine version for the best compatability.
