zepto.js is a minimalist inlinable framework for mobile WebKit browsers, with a jQuery-like chaining syntax, this fork is trying to add support for more browsers apart from the WebKit ones. Namely Firefox Mobile 4, Opera Mobile 10+, and probably in the future IE9 when it arrives to WP7.
