Burrito Manga Reader is a manga reader that is intended exclusively for local manga files. I've found that many PC manga readers don't really support what I've been looking for as a "local file" reader; so I wanted to build one myself.
This manga reader is my very first large programming project, thus the code is messy and does contain some flaws. However, the manga reader has been throughly tested on windows and works correctly. With that being said, I hope you enjoy the reader and I hope to someday build this again from the ground up to make it more efficient. Thank you.
- Very rare crashes when selecting a book to read from library
- Windows 10/11 (tested)
- Linux (not tested)
- Mac (not tested)
When first launching the .exe for the reader, it will try to setup a library location.
On Windows it will default to:
D:\Burrito Manga Reader Library
To change the library location, on first launch run the following in Windows Powershell:
- Change to the directory that contains the .exe
cd "D:\example directory"
- Start the program with an argument of a directory
".\Burrito Manga Reader.exe" D:\Library
The main UI contains all books in the library.
