These notes were created as four hour workshop to teach introductory Python to those wanting to use the language for data science. It introduces begins by instructing how to get started with Python through the command line, simple scripts, and then Jupyter Notebooks. It then dives into the preliminary basics of the Python language before introducing a few packages for data science purposes (numpy, pandas, among others)
The workshop was originally developed for the Center for Computational and Applied Mathematics at Cal State Fullerton.
