Scrolling/playing issues return with v0.2.117

Closed this issue · 6 comments

I just ripped Hugo using transcode audio and received no errors, but the output file has the same playing/scrolling issues that had seemed to go away.

I'm trying to rip the same ISO without audio transcoding to see if that is where the error is introduced, and I'm uploading the file to google so you can have a look, but both will take several hours. Will update when the file is available and the second rip attempt is done.

can you run /Applications/GPAC.app/Contents/MacOS/MP4Box -version to ensure that its version 2.2.1?

MP4Box - GPAC version 2.2.1-rev0-gb34e3851-release-2.2

Would you email me a copy of the iso so I can test? Is it just that iso or multiple?

It turns out the apple aac encoder doesn't support 7.1, instead it supports 7.1(wide). I changed to using the default aac encoder in ffmpeg and that seems to have fixed the issue. I am testing with the newer MP4Box to see if the issue is fixed and we can update MP4Box back to the newest.

Still seems to have issues with MP4Box 2.4. Pushing an update now that should fix the transcoding issue described here.

prerelease out.
