Prerequisites

Before running this project, make sure you have the following prerequisites installed:

  • Docker: The project is designed to run within a Docker container, so Docker needs to be installed on your system. You can download and install Docker from the official website: https://www.docker.com/get-started

Getting Started

To get started with this project, follow the steps below:

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone git@github.com:cesarapires/kafka-ticket-sales.git
  1. Navigate to the project directory:
cd kafka-ticket-sales
  1. Run the Docker container:
docker compose up -d app

To run simulator

To generate data to move the topic, an application was created in go to simulate the sending of data by a producer within the topic that way, if necessary, you can run the simulator container and the data will be sent randomly, follow the command below to run the simulator

  1. Run the simulator:
docker compose up -d simulator
