- Open a new terminal
- run
npm install - Install Node.js → always use the latest LTS version.
- Install cds:
$ npm i -g @sap/cds-dk
- run
cds watch - (in VS Code simply choose Terminal > Run Task > cds watch)
- Start adding content, for example, a db/schema.cds.
