For most of the companies it's easier to use Open Source, than to contribute to Open Source or even go Open Source with an internal product. In discussions with your manager whether to go open source, you hear concerns about loss of business, inconvenient transparency, and the loss of control. Christian Grail explains how he convinced his managers to go open source.
