CAN-and-Bluetooth-protocol-based-Smart-Vehicle-system
The purpose of our project “CAN and Bluetooth protocol based Smart Vehicle system” is to implement CAN and Bluetooth protocol with android to ensure safety of driver on the road and also provide diagnostic features for vehicle. CAN protocol is being used for controlling various electronic control units and Bluetooth protocol is used for interfacing android mobile with the controller board. Idea of the project is to use Android Phone to enhance the features of the vehicle controlling system. Android phone should have the app installed made by us and mobile should be connected with the controller via Bluetooth. While driving if driver gets a call or try to make a call, the app detects the call pickup activity on the phone and sends a signal to controller. The controller gradually reduces the speed to a safe limit so that driver can control the vehicle. Diagnostics features like temperature, light intensity & speed detection are also included as a future scope in the project.
