To get started with building Desolation Rom, you'll need to get familiar with Git and Repo.
You will also need to setup the Build Environment before starting or compiling anything

(Assuming you have a valid build environment setup)
- mkdir deso (or whatever you want to name the source folder)
- cd ~/deso
- repo init -u https://github.com/DesolationRom/android_manifest.git -b mm6.0
- repo sync -jx -f (x being however many cpu jobs, you can also use -c to sync only the current branch specified by repo init)
- . build/envsetup.sh
- lunch deso_shamu-user
- cd ~/deso
- repo sync -jx -f (x being however many cpu jobs, may also use -c as above)
- lunch and pick the right device (refer to above for choosing right device to build)
- mka clean
- mka deso
- cd ~/deso
- repo sync -jx -f (x being however many cpu jobs, may also use -c as above)
- lunch and pick the right device (refer to above for choosing right device to build)
- mka dirty
- mka deso
