This project started out as my custom function library, but the rise of modular FileMaker projects prompted me to create this and integrate the custom functions as a module.
The purpose of this project is to provide a single file with all of the modules that I
consider to be either necessary to a well-built FileMaker system or at least likely to be
useful across many systems. Unlike many starter systems available, this doesn't try to
offer the basic tables needed for the data model (although there is a table template and
one data table that's almost always required, Files). Rather, it tries to offer tools
in a modular fashion, be they custom functions, scripts, or developer utilities.
Each module will generally be self-contained in case others wish to move them to their own system rather than use this as a starter file. However, given the ease with which custom functions can be brought over by a simple import, and given my own great appreciate for custom functions, a reliance on the Custom Function module will almost certainly be required for any other module.
