Homepage: Search bar too prominent in current location

Most obvious on phone, but I don't think the search needs to appear at the top above the nav, probably could go below.
Do you imagine that users would use the search much on the whole? If so, I think having the search up top on the homepage is useful for fast, immediate searching without having to scroll down the page to find the input. If not, I'll go ahead and bump it down.
I’m thinking not, but it might be something that we should talk about as a group.

Did we ever make a decision on the hierarchy of the search bar?
Let's keep it where it is for now.
