This module and document are very simple and can serve as a useful template for other module authors.
This is a github project for building and publishing “YANG Data Model for the IS-IS Reverse Metric Extension”. The document is written in org-mode and uses ox-rfc.el to convert to XML, and then on to one of the xml2rfc output formats (e.g., HTML, TXT, etc).
By using org-babel embedded sections we have automatic verification of the YANG module source, verification of YANG examples, and auto-generation of the YANG tree.
To locally produce the documents one needs emacs and xml2rfc; however, the creation of the publishable documents is also automated using Circle CI on every git push.
Github supports org mode so you can read the source in a marked up form:
