First, install ruby on rails Ruby version 2.7.1
To get started with the app, clone the repo and then install the needed gems:
$ bundle install --without production
Next, migrate the database:
$ rails db:migrate
Add bootstrap and javascript (Version: bootstrap(5.1.3)
$ yarn add bootstrap@next jquery @popperjs/core
Finally, run the test suite to verify that everything is working correctly:
$ rails test
If the test suite passes, you'll be ready to run the app in a local server:
$ rails server
Create a branch
$ git checkout -b <branch_name>
Then write code... 🤧🥴😵💫😮💨 When done writing the code
$ git add .
Write a message related to code just written.
$ git commit -m "<message>"
back to master
$ git checkout master
and push to github to request merge
$ git push --set-upstream origin <branch_name>
