This repository is for the Coursera course Getting and Cleaning Data. The data for this project can be downloaded at https://d396qusza40orc.cloudfront.net/getdata%2Fprojectfiles%2FUCI%20HAR%20Dataset.zip, and this file needs to be downloaded and unzipped into your working directory in order for the R script to work properly. This project uses the plyr package, so it will need to be installed for the project to work.
CodeBook.md : describes the variables used in processing the data along with the data fields contained in the final data file tidy_Data.txt
run_analysis.R : performs all of the steps described in the project description to process the imported data and output a data file
tidy_Data.txt : the output of the R script which contains all fields containing mean or std
