Patches are always welcome! Please send pull requests with your patches! If at all possible please rebase your repository before sending a pull request. You can do this by using the following command:
git pull --rebase git://github.com/cmsgs/path_to_project.git froyo
This makes accepting patches MUCH easier for our comitters.
To get started with Android/CyanogenMod, you'll need to get familiar with Git and Repo.
To initialize your local repository using the CyanogenMod(cmsgs) trees, use a command like this:
repo init -u git://github.com/cmsgs/android.git -b froyo
Then to sync up:
repo sync
