appearance: a thin bar on the left (like header)? (since it also is available on the video page)

(currently) three homepage settings are at general, but they could be within the appearance.
The the header element should be cut in our minimap so that we can call the left corner "home" (linking too home) ( same for sidebar = related videos&the boxes above; details = details&description )

Long-term structure/vision for our UI:

1. my content & discovery logic

2. my~?setup:
   a) (Web-)Video Features (+specific Youtube Tweaking + Youtube's Experiment Flags , those added by the user) ).
   b) Youtube: Cleaning/Trashbin (Up to 100s (including disabled Youtube's Experiment Flags) Ideally needed decreasingly often.)
   c) Youtube Minimap/Layout (more sections, maybe Drag&drop for Sizes, Positions & paint bucket for Colors)

while extra exceptions/conditions like video genre could be set for many features on right click.
and shortcuts or buttons to toggle any experiment flag or anything could be setup with right click too.

YouTube: (trashbin/cleaning:)

• Chapters: Hide (up to sub-options) (And we already have the option to always show chapters in the top right)
• Shorts: Hide (everywhere)
  • even in history? (only sub-option off by default?)
• Mixes: Hide (everyhwere)
• Home: Hide categories bar
• Left menu: hide: Shorts, Subscriptions, You, Explore, More from YouTube. (next to our "compact theme" already allowing to collapse sections and save that, we can also make collapsed sections half transparent)

Wtf is this title and why is this opened again? Like guy abandoned that removing everything. they clearly dont want it anymore. I suggest make new one, to avoid unnecesary conflicts or anger, and to stay clean. I dont even know what this issue is about and even other people who would search for this exact issue would not find it. Please consider making new one @ImprovedTube and describe everything there, and not bully a guy that dont want to contribute anymore.
